What is Reiki?

REIKI, comes from two Japanese words, REI which means Universal Life Energy, and KI which means a Key. Reiki can then be interpreted as a key to universal energy, rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki can be used to achieve inner peace, relaxation, happiness, to improve energy levels, to reach greater awareness and to balance your life in times of stress. It is a very powerful tool to increase and reach again your complete wellbeing even in times of pre- or post operative interventions.  It works wonders in times of change and shock to rebalance your body.

There are three recognised  levels of Reiki:  Reiki Level 1 - First Degree, Reiki Level 2 - Second Degree, Reiki Level 3 - Mastership. These are taught in three stages. Each stage requires two days to cover the course content and the giving and receiving healing practice sessions. Certificates are issued for all three levels.

Following a Reiki training, a Reiki practitioner becomes a conductor of energy. When someone or something is touched by a Reiki practitioner, energy is drawn into that person or object if it is low in energy. This energy has a healing effect.

Reiki will heal almost any condition as long as the person is willing to receive the energy. It is known to be successful in the treatment of strains, sprains, torn cartilages, fractures, chest conditions, joint conditions, bowel problems, skin problems, stress, depression, strokes and many other conditions.

In my private healing clinic I do offer Reiki sessions on a one to one basis also. For appointments please contact me on 091-556667 or 085-1183030.
